This week's reviewed movie is:
Over the Hedge

Gene the Barber

Snick the Sidekick

Gordie the Barber

Over the Hedge is an animation classic that will thrill the kids and keep the adults happy.

This film could be the beginning of a series with something to say about man's influential relationship with his fellow critter-creatures.

It's laugh-out-loud funny while getting its audience to look at itself from another perspective.

Despite my misgivings, this computer-animated film was funnier than I expected.

Although the premise of animals vs. humans has been done to death, the slapstick antics of hungry forest creatures hit a little close to home.

Yes, you've seen it all before, but the voice characterizations make it all worthwhile.

Over the Hedge is based on the comic strip of the same name.

It's about a bunch of wilderness-dwelling creatures who learn how to search for man-made goodies on the other side of a tall hedge that separates man from beast.

This animated comedy is an action movie for kids. Parents who go along with the kids can enjoy the social satire.
