This is a romantic-comedy-date-
chick flick with many dramatic moments.
Angeline Jolie is the center of the film,
and I enjoyed her excellent performance, which saved the film
as much as it could for me.
Although this movie is no masterpiece and
has a tired plot, I still found it watchable and managed to see
how a person would feel if you had only a week to live. |
If you're in the mood for a no-brainer,
(and who isn't?) then Angeline Jolie stars in this chick flick
thinly disguised as a romantic comedy.
A shallow, self-centered, career newscaster
finds love and discovers how to enjoy life.
It's as empty and predictable as it sounds.
I guess they just don't make 'em like they used to. |
Life or Something Like It is a movie that can't be taken too seriously to
enjoy it. You need to let your imagination become fully engaged
for this comic-book-like self-deprecating romantic comedy.
The story is mostly about throwing together
a bunch of old-fashioned corny expressions regarding the loneliness
of ambitious women.
The whole production is unnatural and artificial
but it's cheerful nonsense from lighthearted beginning to obvious
end. |
