HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE

Harry Potter #6 looks like another big hit.

This richly entertaining adventure adds more to the mythology and at the same time tells a detailed satisfying story.

The final book (#7) is being turned into two separate movies, and you can just see and feel the story changing towards a spectacular conclusion as the stakes get higher.

The action is more dramatic & the effects are bigger and better, building all the time.

I can hardly wait for the final chapter.

Ah, young wizards, how fast they grow.

It seems like only five films ago they were heading to Hogwarts for the first time (well, I digress).

The Deatheaters have invaded the Muggles' world, things aren't quite what they seem to be, and raging hormones are causing so much "snogging" that no one ever seems to be studying for class.

For fans of the series, this is one of the best, as there are two major surprises revealed.

But it does end on a dark note as we ready ourselves for the ultimate showdown between Harry and you-know-who.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has finally arrived on the big screen.

The film is the most visually complex installment since Harry Potter 3.

What I liked about the movie is that it has many different sections, like suspense with wizardly magic action, comedy, good versus evil and innocent young romance.

The story also sets up the final anticipated chapter.

The producer, David Heyman, said, "It really is the beginning of the end."
