Director Dan Klores' bizarre documentary, Crazy Love, is a story no one would ever believe to be true. There's enough dirty dirt to satisfy even the most rabid tabloid junkie. Klores allows all the gripping details to unfold in classic romantic thriller style, showing viewers the twisted pleasure of watching this couple's insane love-hate story being told. As they used to say, truth is stranger than fiction. Or believe it or not. All true. |
The mystery of love is closely examined in Crazy Love, a documentary that literally lives up to its name. Burt and Linda are in love, that is until Linda discovers Burt is married. Then it really gets crazy when Burt hires thugs to disfigure Linda. And if you think that's the end of the story, then you've never been in Crazy Love. Nothing beats fiction like reality, or this twisted documentary. |
This true story is so crazy that I'm still trying to sort out parts of it in my mind. The unbelievable core of this insane, twisted love relationship took about 50 years. They are now hitched up, and I wonder how the marriage vow "for better or worse" will hold up? I'm hoping for something better for this couple. |
