This week's reviewed movie is:
Pirates: Dead Man's Chest

Gene the Barber

Snick the Sidekick

Gordie the Barber

This film will lead you to may adventures with exotic locations--and interesting creatures that will drop your jaw to the ocean floor.

The make-up in this movie is absolutely off the charts, and the performances from Johnny Depp and the whole cast are outstanding.

I liked the way it kept throwing you off course, not knowing where the plot will go next

The mythology works on every level in this movie, so come aboard and have some fun.

Even though it's overlong with too many plots, there's plenty of high-sea adventures and swash-buckling action in this second installment of Pirates of the Caribbean.

It's a fun film that never takes itself too seriously, thanks to the comic stylings of Johnny Depp as Capt. Jack Sparrow.

Arrrh! there really cannibals in the Caribbean?

It takes about 30 minutes before this pirate adventure theme park film sets up its main story, which is mostly a search or quest movie.

Once everything is in place, the picture offers plenty of what made the first one so popular--like hidden treasure, ghost ships, and the walking dead.

The slow beginning can be overlooked by the thrilling ending and we can look forward to more of the same entertainment experience, the next time around.
