John Glenn's return to space lends Space Cowboys its credibility, and it takes the time to introduce its cast of the most famous four actors you could put together: Tommy Lee Jones, James Gardner, Donald Sutherland, and, of course, Clint Eastwood.

There's no aliens, no space wars, just comedy-action-drama, and as good as I've seen space technology special effects.

You feel they had fun making this picture, and it will transfer over, making for a fun entertainment blast into orbit experience for you.

You've got to hand it to Clint for assembling a great cast in this buddy buddy buddy buddy film, complete with humor, heroics, and cold-war politics(shades of Rocky & Bullwinkle).

A slim plot, but an enjoyable script, with four veteran actors obviously having a great time.
