MEET THE ROBINSONS

Meet the Robinsons is a good digital animation sci-fiction joy ride.

It's about a 12-year-old orphan boy who has been working on a science fair project that will enable him to retrieve old memories -- and get a glimpse of his mother -- who abandoned him as a baby.

This film has plenty to offer the grown-ups -- and is way more intelligent than most cartoons.

I was pleased with the adventure, and the message to get kids interested in science.

As animation goes, this one is pretty cool (whether you see it in 3-D or not).

It takes you to a not-too-distant future that is nothing like you think -- full of weird characters, weird ideas, and hundreds of hit-and-miss jokes (some that occasionally work).

It's no Disney classic, but certainly better than those princess movies they've been turning out in past years -- enjoyable enough.

I found this kid flick to be a mediocre computer animated film.

Most of the characters lack feelings, and a lot of the comedy seems to be from other sources.

There's so much going on in the movie that the production team doesn't know when to take a break.

It's an out-of-control time travel story set in the past, present, and future, and all happening or existing at the same time.

I think the problem was too many screenwriters.
