THE LINCOLN LAWYER

v
The Lincoln Lawyer, who operates out of the back of his Lincoln Continental sedan, is a slick L.A. defense attorney named Mike Haller.

Most of his business comes from defending petty crimes and low-life thugs.

This is a really enjoyable old-fashioned legal murder thriller that succeeds thanks to a satisfying twisty script.

I liked the old-fashioned feel, plus the nostalgia of the 90s.

It had its moments, and was a tad predictable, but, what the heck, it held my attention and was fun.
After a run of some of the worst romantic comedies ever made, it's nice to see Matthew McConaghey back in a comfortable role as a streetwise lawyer who knows how to make money.

Full of oddball characters and ethical conundrums, it is a fast-paced mystery / thriller that starts with a roar and ends with a whimper.

Still, a good supporting cast and a top-notch director hold it all together.
The Lincoln Lawyer is a fast-paced enjoyable piece of entertainment.

The film is satisfying and packs in a few surprise twists and turns along the way.

The lead star plays a hot-shot lawyer who drives around town in a Lincoln town car and will defend anyone who can pay his fee.

The mystery thriller is the kind of legal drama that holds the viewer's attention from start to finish and depends entirely on smart story-telling and -- over all --solid performances.
